Growing Up in Currituck, Chef Shaun Belangia knows what food our locals and visitors like. The lack of restaurants in the county made culinary graduate Shaun Belangia ready to make a splash in his county ready to give the public somewhere to go, to have great food, service and an all around great experience.
As a kid Chef Shaun Belangia always wanted to be able to open his own restaurant. Shaun studied at the Culinary Institute of Virginia and shortly after graduation he landed the Executive Chef position at the Hilton Garden Inn, Kitty Hawk. After a few years he was offered the chance to open his own restaurant and start his endeavor that he has dreamed of as a kid, and to top it off the restaurant is at a great golf course. So most views from the restaurant are of the greens on the course which is where th ename Greenside Bar & Grille comes from.
